![]() ![]() I kept thinking over and over this should not be this hard. I wasted all this time just trying to get the monitor to cut on. I've never been so effing frustrated in my life. It was loads of problems from the time I took it out the box. So I was already annoyed I had to wait until today when I finally got it. The store had to have it ordered/shipped to my house because there were none in stock at any of the best buys near me. Ohhhhh no I was so excited about this computer. ![]() IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE - MY MONITOR WILL NOT CONNECT - NO SIGNAL - VERY DISAPPOINTED Lol I literally had a melt down last week but hopefully this can helpful for someone else <3 I was really stressing that I just paid all that money for a new computer and had issues on day one. I was super discouraged but everything has been working fine for the past week and it's perfect as it should be. However it has turnt on every single time I've powered the computer back up again after each shut down.Īnyways that was the issue for me. So even after support helped me out I was still kinda skeptical that it was going to turn off in the middle of me playing a game. This intermittent connection between the computer and the display was most frustrating out of it all as you can probably tell. And booooooom! It actually recognized the monitor was connected via HDMI and the display was on.īefore calling tech support the display would turn on and stay on for short period of time while I was using computer but then the screen would just randomly turn off. I put the glass panel back on and tighten the screws and stood the tower upright and powered her on. Once I heard a soft 'click' sound, I was confident it was secure. ![]() Unscrew the glass panel on the other exposed side of the tower and gently push down on the graphics card so it was fully connected to the motherboard. || Resulting in a poor connection from the computer to the display.Īnyways they had me shut down the computer. Graphics card became slightly unplugged/detached from motherboard most likely during shipment. Maybe there is no speaker inside the computer?ĮVERYTHING IS GOOD - MY PC RECOGNIZES MY MONITOR NOW - WORKS GREAT (: I have always heard an audible sound when turning on any computer. i have never turned on a Windows 10 computer, but i do not get any audible sound from any speaker when the computer turns on. No fans inside move & i hear no sound that anything is happening inside the computer. Does anyone have any suggestions how i can get the monitor to work with my new computer? btw - the only evidence i have that the computer is on is that the keyboard lights up. ![]() I am not sure what the RAM would have to do with the output of the video card. I have reseated the RAM as per Technical Support but Technical Support seemed more interested in getting off the phone with me than solving my problem. I have cycled the monitor through the inputs it has & still i am not able to get a signal. I have the monitor hooked up to the display port & the HDMI port (both below the audio input/output). When i turn on the computer, i get a blank screen on my new monitor that says no signal is detected. I received my new cyberpower pc Model GMA8200CPG & i got a new monitor ASUS VG248. ![]()
